"Ready to Go" – Limited Edition Willys Truck Print | Vintage Americana Watercolor Wall Art
Available - Limited Edition of 100 | 11” x 14” Prints
Some vehicles show the character they have earned.
This old Willys pickup has spent a lifetime working. Every dent, patch of rust, faded panel, and worn edge tells the story of years spent doing exactly what it was built to do. To me, those aren't imperfections—they're evidence of a life filled with purpose.
I've always been drawn to subjects like this. I rarely paint things that are new or polished because I'm interested in what time leaves behind. The scratches, the weathering, and the signs of use aren't flaws to hide—they're the parts of the story that make an object worth remembering.
When I painted Ready to Go, I wasn't simply painting an old truck. I was painting something that had earned my respect. It reminds me that the things which quietly serve us often become more meaningful with time, not less.
Whether it's an old pickup, a weathered boat, or a length of worn rope, I'm continually inspired by subjects that have stood the test of time. They remind me that service, experience, and endurance have a beauty all their own.
Collector Information
Each print is produced as part of a fixed, limited edition of 100 and is individually signed and numbered by the artist. Once an edition is fully collected, it is permanently closed and not reproduced.
Printed on Arches Aquarelle Rag 310 - a 100% cotton archival paper produced by Arches, one of France's historic papermakers with a tradition dating back more than 500 years. The print is created using Canon Lucia archival pigment inks rated for more than 100 years of display life. The surface has a soft, matte texture with a natural warmth that closely reflects the character of the original watercolor.
Each print is prepared in the studio and presented professionally matted in white with a rigid backing, then enclosed in protective, weather-resistant packaging for shipment. Each print is professionally matted to fit a standard 16” x 20” frame.
A certificate of authenticity accompanies every piece, verifying its place within the edition and including a unique identifying number recorded by the artist.
Room images are provided to help visualize how this artwork may look once professionally framed and displayed in a home. Limited edition prints are shipped professionally matted and ready for framing. If you would like to receive your print professionally framed and ready to hang, please contact me before placing your order. I'd be happy to arrange custom framing and shipping. The final cost will depend on your choice of frame and shipping destination.
