I welcome the opportunity to create a commissioned piece for your home or collection. Every commission begins with a conversation about your vision, followed by concept sketches for your approval before any work begins — ensuring the finished piece is exactly what you envisioned. As a veteran and Maine coast native now based in Melbourne, Florida, I bring the same care to a commission that I bring to every original piece: watercolor on canvas, paper, or surfboard, painted by hand. Commission pricing varies by size, substrate, and complexity. But commissions on canvas or paper range from $800 and up depending on size. Commissions on surfboards range from $1,600 and up. How It Works 1. Consultation — We talk through your vision, subject, and space. 2. Concept Sketches — I provide up to three initial sketches for your review and approval. 3. Deposit & Work Begins — A 50% deposit secures your place and work begins. 4. Delivery — Your finished piece arrives ready to display, with care instructions included. A recent commission: On Watch, a watercolor painted on a six-foot surfboard, went on to receive the Award for Excellence at the 41st Annual Melbourne Fine Art Festival.
