"Meeting" — Limited Edition Print | Maine Coast Watercolor | Ocean & Beach Stone Wall Art
Available – Limited Edition of 100 | 11” x 14” Prints
There is something timeless about the place where land meets sea.
Every wave arrives differently. It breaks across the stones, slips quietly back into the ocean, and returns again a few moments later. The shoreline changes with every tide, yet somehow always remains itself.
Growing up on the Maine coast, I spent countless hours watching that meeting place. Long before I ever painted it, I was drawn to the rhythm of the waves, the colors hidden among the stones, and the quiet perspective that only the shoreline seems to offer.
I painted this during COVID, when the world felt uncertain. I found myself returning to this place in my mind. The rhythm of the ocean reminded me that some things continue regardless of what we're facing. The tide comes in. The tide goes out. The next wave always arrives.
Standing where land meets sea has always helped me find perspective. It is one of the few places where the noise of life seems to fall away, leaving only the present moment.
I hope this painting brings a little of that feeling into your home.
