This painting came from a day where I needed to quiet my mind. I needed the perspective of the tide and the ocean to remind me of where I fit in the bigger picture. I wanted to capture the shadows cast across the sand, and the color harmony in the scene. This painting challenged me in new ways, and I love it when I find myself in those scenarios.
