My son asked me to paint something with more color. Then he suggested jellyfish.
He was right on both counts.
I loved everything about painting this — the way they drift without effort, the way the color radiates outward from each form, the way the whole composition moves without anything being still. It's one of the most purely enjoyable paintings I've made. I think that shows.
Rob has the original. This print exists because I wasn't ready to stop looking at it — and because I thought you might not be either.
Print details: 16" × 20" — limited edition of 100, signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. Once the edition closes it is permanently retired.
